About Me

Hello! I am Martin, the owner/operator of 3D Prints Windsor. Whether it was taking apart an old VCR to see how it worked as a kid or programming micro computers to run my 3D printers, I’ve always had a passion for technology.

When 3D printing started becoming more affordable I quickly bought my first printer, a Robo C2. It was small, loud and didn’t produce the greatest prints but it was the beginning of my interest in additive manufacturing. After countless hours of tweaking, printing upgrades and tinkering with the C2 I started to discover how involved and powerful 3D printing can be. I bought a second printer, a Prusa i3 MK3, that added even more capabilities and increased my knowledge of the workflow. It was around this time that I started using Autodesk Fusion 360 to start printing my own design ideas.

From here my interest only grew and that is when I really started to grasp what 3D printing is capable of. To augment my work shop I added a small CNC machine, laser cutter and soon a pressure forming mold machine. With these tools I am capable of bringing just about any idea in to the physical space, utilizing my now extensive knowledge in 3D printing and design.

Let’s build something together.
